The CF Campus opened in January of 2019 as a shared space for community advancement in Tucson, Arizona. Our nonprofit campus spans more than 24,000 square feet across three buildings with a central courtyard. The CF Campus includes short-term private offices, long-term suites, drop-in work spaces, mailboxes, multiple conference rooms, common areas, and event spaces.
CF Campus was created by the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA)whose headquarters are located on the second floor. Along with CFSA, there are more than fifteen nonprofit organizations that rent office space or utilize mailbox services.
Aside from the space itself, CF Campus offers a variety of benefits for our nonprofit community including networking events, exclusive scholarship opportunities, access to free training through the Center for Healthy Nonprofits and more.
The Center for Healthy Nonprofits is an initiative of CFSA that hosts events at CF Campus. The Center was created to provide education and professional development for nonprofits in Southern Arizona for little or no cost. Virtual events occur weekly to engage our tenants and other organizations in the community.
What is one interesting fact about your space?
CF Campus hosts an annual art rotation for local artists to submit work to be displayed on our walls. This year we have 18 artists represented, with more than 30 pieces of artwork hung around Campus. All the artwork is labeled with artist contact information and a sale price so that our visitors can buy a piece right off the wall. Not to mention, we commissioned a local muralist to paint a 25’x16′ mural on our elevator tower this spring. Local artists get to display their work in a community venue and we get unique décor, win-win!
What are your favorite resources that you would recommend to others?
CF Campus utilizes many nonprofit resources. Some of our favorites are (1) our very own Center for Healthy Nonprofits because along with our community members, many of our tenants and staff benefit from the free professional development and training sessions. One benefit of the pandemic is that all our programming is now available online. Register for a seminar, program, or event at https://cfsaz.org/events/. (2) We have a license with Catchafire and utilize their experienced volunteers to help us with multiple projects a year. Last year our Catchafire volunteers helped with website maintenance, creating window signage, designing marketing packets, and assessed our social media performance – all for free! (3) CF Campus is a member of the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits where we get access to educational seminars, updates from the nonprofit industry in our region, and exposure to a network of other professionals.
