SPRE projects take a lot of different shapes, and behind every one of them is someone who figured out how to make it work. We can’t run a Summit about social purpose real estate without the people actually doing it in the room.
The Call for Speakers for SPRE Summit 2027 is officially open, and we want to hear from you.
On May 4–6, 2027, CSN heads to Atlanta, GA for SPRE Summit 2027, hosted at Morehouse School of Medicine’s Calvin Smyre Conference Center. We’ll bring together community real estate professionals and practitioners from all aspects of commercial community space.
The five Summit tracks came directly from what you told us matters most, and where the field is putting its energy right now:
- Access to Capital, because creative financing isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s the whole game
- Community Ownership and Wealth Building, because space without ownership isn’t liberation
- Development and Operation of Social Purpose Real Estate, the real, unglamorous work of building and running mission-driven space
- Partnerships and Collaboration, because none of us do this alone
- Policy and Advocacy, because the rules of the game are still being written, and we intend to help write them
This isn’t just for polished experts. It’s for the practitioner who figured out an unconventional deal structure, the organizer who fought for a zoning win, the developer still in the middle of a hard project and willing to talk honestly about it.
Proposals are due November 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST. Speakers hear back in January 2027, and sessions run May 5–6.
