NHP pursues programs and activities that benefit the North Hartford community, including specific life outcomes for Swift-based entrepreneurs and residents who participate in programs.ย
What is one interesting fact about your space?
We have ten commercial kitchens, 11 loft offices, shared and co-working spaces. Since 2020, our resident businesses have created over 100 jobs for the local community. We started a community composting program, diverting over 5,000lbs of food from the waste stream in under one year. We are in the process of developing a Climate Resilience Hub! More to come on that in 2026!
What are your favorite resources that you would recommend to others?
Coalitions like the Community Spaces Network, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, nationally. Local organizations and grassroots initiatives.
